CDL-A Commercial Driver

As a CDL-A Driver at Hungry Howie’s Distributing, you’ll play a key role in safely and efficiently delivering food products to our franchise stores, while providing outstanding customer service on every route. You are the face of our company, and customer service is an essential part of the job. Job duties include the ability to safely maneuver tractor/trailer in tight spaces and manually unload products at Hungry Howie's stores using a handcart and ramp.

Responsibilities:

· Comply with truck DOT rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures.

· Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver product in a timely manner.

· Load and unload product up and down the delivery ramp using a handcart.

· Report defects, accidents, or traffic violations to General Manager in a timely manner.

· Maintain necessary paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· A clean and valid CDL-A driver's license.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis to unload the truck at each delivery location.

· Food delivery experience is preferred, but not required.

· At least 1 year OR 100,000 miles experience.

· Must be 21 years of age.
